Christmas 2020                    2020 has been a uniquely difficult year. The Church of England's campaign, Comfort and Joy, aims to hold together the hope that Christmas will bring joy and celebration, whilst acknowledging that it will be a very difficult time for some. We remember the words of St Paul from his letter to the Romans, "Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep."

This page contains links to various Advent and Christmas resources which we hope you will find helpful and enjoyable during this season.

       SW Carols

On Sunday 6th December celebrate with people all over the South West tuning in from their home for a festive online production featuring home grown talent and headline acts. Despite what has been a challenging year for so many, this season brings smiles to us all. Our first ever South West Carols event will be a celebration of all the GOOD things that take place at this wonderful time of the year as we remember the reason for the season. Featuring traditional carols, creative musical items, a nativity produced by children across the region, items to make you laugh out loud, interviews and stories, fun and engaging audience interaction points, and more.

Just go to www.southwestcarols.com on Sunday at 7.00pm.

Advent is a time when we think about how the light of God's love shines in darkness, and how we can be beacons of God's love and light. This has never been more important than this year. Our Advent Course is "Light in the Darkness", an opportunity to reflect on how we are called to be Lights for Christ.

Each week is centred on a word which has been central to these Covid times:-
