What's on at The Canalside Benefice
We are very grateful to the Lion and Fiddle in Hilperton who have given permission for people attending the 8.00am and 10.00am services in St Michael's Church. Parking is also usually available in Hilperton Village Hall, Whaddon Lane. Both are a short walk from the church.
We welcomed Bishop Andrew Rumsey to Canalside on Sunday January 12th. He took the 10.00am service in St Michael's Hilperton to celebrate the merger of the parishes of St Michael's and Whaddon with Staverton and Hilperton Marsh. He also dedicated the Last Supper carving in its new position and the new pew Bibles given in memory of Sheila and Geoffrey Short.
A new group for pre-school children and their parents/carers started on Friday 10th January at 9.15am at St Mary's Church Horse Road ('The Tin Church') and continues at the same time weekly in term time. Click Toddlers@TheTin for more information.
Tea at the Tin is a new regular service for 2020! It is an informal service for all the family at 4.00pm on the third Sunday of most months at St Mary's Horse Road, the Tin Church. The first one is on Sunday 19th January. Click on Tea at The Tin for more details.
